The Margaret McNamara Educational Grants (MMEG) is pleased to announce open an offer of grants to women from African countries to assist them in furthering their education and improve their individual lives.

The Margaret McNamara Educational Grants (MMEG) is one of the very few organizations who makes available financial aid to women. During the years, grants of up to US$15,000 have been given in the US/Canada program, and US$7,000 in the Africa, Latin America and Trinity programs.

MMEG Scholarships 2022 for African Women to Study in South Africa Eligibility Criteria:

In order to stand a chance at being considered for the MMEG Scholarships 2022, interested applicants must meet the following programme requirements stated below:

  • Interested applicants must be from an African Country.
  • Interested applicants must be a citizen of a country listed on the MMEG Country Eligibility List.
  • Interested applicants must be a female student in order to be considered for the scholarship award.
  • Interested applicants must be at least 25 years of age at the time of application to be eligible for the scholarship award.
  • Interested applicants must be registered at an accredited academic institution when submitting their application or plan to be registered for a full academic term after award of the grant by the Board.
