Requirements and eligibility criteria for Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2024:
- Students must be enrolled as full-time undergraduates during the current 2024/2025 year. This should be done in an accredited university or college.
- In the scholarship for study in the EU, ME, and Africa 2024/2025, applications should be from those who plan to take up or be admitted to full-time studies at an accredited university in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa for the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Only those who are studying computer science, computer engineering, or closely related technical subjects are beyond consideration.
- Applicants should not only have a solid academic record but they also have to show other abilities.
- Candidates should have leadership experiences and have a vibrant inspiration to raise the representation of underrepresented people in the computer science and technology areas.

Application Procedures for Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2024 (How to apply);
To apply for the Generation Google Scholarship (EMEA) 2024, eligible applicants need to complete an online application, which includes:
- General background information, such as contact details and current/intended universities.
- Resume/CV.
- Academic transcripts from the current institution.
- Responses to short answer essay questions. These questions aim to assess problem-solving skills and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Each response should be 500 words or less.
Essay Questions:
- Describe a time when you encountered a complex problem without a clear solution path. Explain the steps you took to reach a solution, including the resources and solutions considered. Share your key learnings from this experience. This problem could be from school, work, extracurricular activities, or home.
- From your personal experience, discuss a barrier that limits equitable access to the technology field. Identify the root cause of this barrier and describe actions you have taken or plan to take to address it. Focus on your actions, with at least half of your response dedicated to this aspect. Keep in mind that impact can occur in various ways and scales.
