Australia Awards Fellowships 2025 (Short-Term Opportunities)

High-intelligent professionals and officials from partner countries are invited to apply for the Australia Awards Fellowships 2025, starting September 2. This program provides a great opportunity for senior and mid-career individuals to upgrade their knowledge through research and training activities in Australian settings.

Foreign fellowship sponsors the program 100% from Australian organizations and all the costs are met by the Australian government during the fellowship program period.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;

Be at least 18 years old when the Fellowship begins.
Not be a permanent resident or applying for permanent residency in Australia, nor be a partner of someone who is.
Be a citizen of an eligible country.
Not be a currently serving military personnel.
Meet all requirements of the Department of Home Affairs for (DFAT sponsored) student visas subclass 500.
Be able to participate in the Fellowship.
Travel without family members (Fellows with disabilities needing assistance must travel with a carer).

Africa: Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Caribbean: Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname
