Ireland Fellows Program for Africa Scholarship 2024
Suitably qualified students from Lesotho and Zimbabwe who wish to partake in a benefiting world-class fellowship program in Ireland are encouraged to apply for the Ireland Fellows Program for Africa Scholarship 2024.
The Africa Scholarship is open to candidates from Lesotho and Zimbabwe who will be commencing at the beginning of the academic year 2024/25. The program welcomes applicants who have leadership potential and are given the privilege to enroll in the one-year master’s level study at a higher education institution (HEI) in Ireland with a fully funded scholarship package.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria Ireland Fellows Program for Africa Scholarship 2024
- Be a resident and national of Lesotho or Zimbabwe.
- Have 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale), awarded in 2012 or later.
- Not qualify for master’s level or higher, or be enrolled in such a program for 2024/25.
- Plan to start a master’s program in Ireland no earlier than August 2024.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities, commitment to achieving SDGs, and fostering positive relationships with Ireland.
- Select three relevant programs from the Directory of Eligible Programmes.
- Meet academic and English language proficiency requirements.
- Have applied to the Ireland Fellows Programme no more than once before.
- Be available to start the fellowship in the academic year 2024-2025.
Benefits include coverage for university and examination fees, travel expenses, allowances for settling in, books, study materials, accommodation, and a monthly stipend for living expenses.
