Requirements and eligibility criteria for Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships 2024 at Newcastle University:
- Postgraduate taught and research degree applicants
- Medicine MB BS, Dental Surgery BDS, and Oral and Dental Health Sciences applicants
- Applicants applying through Clearing
- Study abroad and exchange students
- Current, registered students at the university who have already commenced their undergraduate degree at the time of the award (awards cannot be made retrospectively)
Applicants initially assessed as international for fee purposes but whose fees change to “home” - Scholarships are renewable annually and subject to academic progression
- Awards for the 2024/25 academic year cannot be deferred to the 2025/26 academic year
- Applicants must have or expect a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent
