Requirements and eligibility criteria for 2024 African Development Bank Group Young Professionals Program (YPP):

  • Citizenship of a member country of the AfDB
  • Maximum age of 32 years
  • Master’s degree or equivalent with excellent academic record
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in priority areas (Hi-5s)
  • Proficiency in coding, e-development, animation, and platform design and maintenance
  • Hands-on experience in Africa or other developing countries
  • Passion for Africa’s development
  • Ability to share knowledge and coach others
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability
  • High business acumen and innovative mindset
  • Proficiency in English and/or French
  • Digital skills and adaptability to technological advancements
  • Willingness to relocate to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, and other African countries as needed.
