Kings College Commonwealth Shared Scholarship 2025 to Study in the UK
Highly intelligent students from Commonwealth countries who aspire to pursue a master’s degree at King’s College London are invited to apply for the prestigious Commonwealth Shared Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This Masters scholarship is under the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission which offers it through the UK government for such scholars who are wont to be future leaders and Performers in their home country. If you’re accepted into the program as a Masters student, you will receive financial support, and your admissions application fee will be waived upon request.
To apply, make sure to submit your application by January 8, 2025. If you wish to have the application fee waived, complete the ‘Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme Application Fee Waiver Form’ by January 3, 2025. King’s College London will review eligible applications and nominate successful candidates to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission by March 13, 2025. The final decision will be made by the CSC, with results expected by July 2025.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Be a citizen or refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Be available to start studies in the UK by September 2025.
- Hold a first degree with at least upper second-class (2:1) honors or a lower second-class degree with a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s).
- Have not studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country.
- Be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.
- Provide all supporting documents in the required format.
- Meet entry requirements for the chosen degree and be proficient in English.
- Confirm intent to return to home country after completing the study.

Application Procedures (How to apply);
- Submit your application to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) via their online system.
- Apply online for a master’s program at King’s College London.
- In the “Funding” section of your King’s application, select option 5 and enter ‘CSSS2025’ in the “award scheme code or name” field.
