African Union Internship Program 2024 for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Citizens of Member States are encouraged to apply for the African Union Internship Program 2024 for Undergraduate and Graduate Students which promotes educational and develop skills to young undergraduate and graduate students.
The Internship program helps to open the eyes of the participants to the workings of the AU at the tender stage which will expand and strengthen their professional skills and personal growth.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria African Union Internship Program for Undergraduate and Graduate Students
- Must be enrolled in at least the final year of a Bachelor’s degree program, OR
- Must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced/postgraduate (Master’s) qualification in a related field
- Must be a national of a Member State of the African Union
- Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s or graduate school program
- Must be fluent in at least one AU working language (Arabic, English, French, or Portuguese)
- Must be no more than 32 years old at the time of selection
- Must possess the highest standard of moral conduct and integrity and have not been convicted of any serious criminal offense (excluding minor traffic offenses)
- Prior work experience is not required

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in email and internet applications
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in one of the AU working languages (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, Kiswahili); fluency in another AU language is an added advantage
