In collaboration with the University of Queensland, the Australian Government is pleased to announce the ongoing application with Earmarked Scholarships 2024/2025 academic session for suitably qualified international students who wish to pursue their PhD degree in the above-mentioned prestigious university.
The Australian Government funds the Earmarked scholarships to assist PhD students with their living costs and tuition fees which allows them to work with world-leading researchers.

Requirements and eligibility criteria Australian Government Earmarked Scholarships 2024 University of Queensland
- Completed research experience.
- Approved university degree meeting English language requirements.
- Master of Philosophy or another research master’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least honors class IIA or equivalent.
- Coursework master’s degree with an overall GPA of 5.65 on the 7-point UQ scale, including relevant research experience.
- Postgraduate degree with an overall GPA of 5 on the 7-point UQ scale, plus demonstrated research experience equivalent to honors class IIA.
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant research experience, including publications.

- Living stipend of $35,000 per annum (tax-free, indexed annually).
