Australian Government is thrilled to announce the ongoing application for fellowship Support Scheme Scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic session at the University of Queensland for suitably qualified applicants.

The Australian Government Fellowship Support Scheme Scholarships are funded to help postgraduate students with tuition fees and cost of living which includes a Living stipend of $35,000 per annum tax-free (indexed annually), your tuition fees covered, and Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Completed some research experience.
Completed an approved university degree.
The degree must be in a field relevant to the proposed PhD project.
The degree must be completed within the last 10 years.
Must meet the English language proficiency requirements.

Approved Degrees:

Master of Philosophy (or another research master’s degree).

Bachelor’s Degree:

From an approved university with at least honors class IIA or equivalent.

Coursework Master’s Degree:

Overall grade point average of 5.65 on the 7-point UQ scale.
Includes relevant research experience, approved by the dean.

Postgraduate Degree:

At least one year full-time or equivalent.
Overall grade point average of 5 on the 7-point UQ scale.
Demonstrated research experience equivalent to honors class IIA (considered on a case-by-case basis).

Bachelor’s Degree + Research Experience:

At least 2 years of relevant research experience, including research publications.
