Requirements and eligibility criteria for Engineering for Development Doctoral Scholarships 2024:

The process for applying to the Engineering for Development Doctoral Scholarships involves two steps:

First Step:

  •  Submit the Concept Note Application Form 2024 to the E4D program office via email.
  • Concept note application must include:
  • Completed Concept Note Application Form 2024.
  • CV of the applicant.
  • Excellent MSc degree and grade transcripts from a recognized university.
  • Support letter from the supervising professor at ETH Zurich.
  • 2 reference letters from the applicant’s field of research.
  • Relevant publications or documentation of project-related activities.
  • List of 5 independent reviewers in the same field of research.
  • Bibliography.

Second Step:

  • Applicants with approved concept notes collaborate with the supervising professor to develop a comprehensive proposal.
  • If the candidate and professor are not acquainted, they must arrange a meeting to discuss the detailed proposal, either in person or through an online platform.
