International Scholarships 2022 at University of British Columbia in Canada
The University of British Columbia in Canada is pleased to announce open the application submission from suitably qualified international students who wish to pursue a PhD degree program at the university to apply for the 2022 International Scholarships worth about $30,000 per annum and a $2,000 allowance for research-related travel during the 24 months of the scholarship.
The International Scholarships were established in memory of Izaak Walton Killam through the Will of his wife, Dorothy J. Killam, and through gifts made during her lifetime. Their primary aim is to support advanced education and research at five Canadian universities and the Canada Council for the Arts through their PhD scholarship worth about $30,000 per annum and a $2,000 allowance for research.

The university ranks among the top three universities in Canada with an annual research budget of $759 million and funds over 8,000 projects every year.

- Applicants must be a Canadian, Permanent resident or an International student.
- Applicants must have completed not more than 24 months of doctoral study as of the start of the scholarship.
- Applicants must have good academic record.
Method of Application for the International Scholarships 2022 at University of British Columbia in Canada:
Interested applicants who wish to apply for the Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral (CGS-D) (such as Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada) are required to apply for CGS-D. Applicants who submit an NSERC, SSHRC or CIHR doctoral award application to UBC Okanagan are also welcome to apply for Killam Scholarship funding through Affiliated Fellowships-Doctoral award competition.
