Carnegie Mellon University Africa (CMU Africa) is a branch of Carnegie Mellon University situated in Kigali, Rwanda, established in 2011 to address the demand for quality technical education in Africa. It focuses on information and communication technology and offers master’s programs in software engineering, information technology, and electrical and computer engineering. CMU Africa collaborates with industry partners and local institutions to provide innovative education and research opportunities. Its mission includes fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership among African students.
