The President’s Doctoral Scholar Award is an extraordinary chance for outstanding students worldwide to embark on a journey of groundbreaking research alongside esteemed academics. The successful recipients of the PDS Award will receive an annual stipend at the UKRI rate, along with a £1,000 stipend enhancement. Requirements and eligibility criteria for President’s Doctoral Scholar (PDS) Award 2024 at University of Manchester:

  • All PDS applications will undergo internal review.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed before final funding offers are made.
  • Interviews are expected to occur in mid-March 2024.
