2023 Talents Scholarship Program for Young Musicians at Goethe-Institut

Goethe-Institut and Pop-Kultur are now accepting applications for the Goethe Talents Scholarship 2023. This program is dedicated to supporting and connecting young musicians, composers, singers, and instrumentalists between the ages of 20 and 30 who are from transitioning or developing countries.

The 12-day scholarship program aims to cultivate aspiring musical artists and will be held for the eighth time in 2023. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, including training, networking and artistic collaboration. All selected participants of the Goethe Talents Scholarship 2023 program will receive a festival ticket and access to Pop-Kultur’s networking area for professionals, courtesy of Music Board Berlin. The program will also cover the cost of accommodation, including breakfast, as well as health insurance and public transportation within Berlin.

In order to be eligible for 2023 Talents Scholarship Program for Young Musicians at Goethe-Institut, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must be young musician between 20-30 years old
Applicants from the Global South, North Africa or West- and Central- Asia
Applicants must have work experience in the field of music
Applicants must speak English fluently
The programme is particularly focused on talents from the Global South, the Middle East and (Central) Asia.
The talents are selected after an international application process through the worldwide network of the Goethe-Institut.
Applicants who have already gained some experience in the field of music and have a solid grasp of the English language
