Tomorrows Leaders Graduate Students Program (TLG) 2023/24

The Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students (TLG) program is a collaboration between the US Department of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA/AC), and the American University in Cairo (AUC). The application phase for 2023/24 is currently accepting applications, and if you’re interested and meet the qualifications, you’re encouraged to apply.

The TLG program supports students who are both academically capable and financially in need. It helps them gain the skills and practical experience required to enhance their expertise and make a positive impact through advanced studies and research. This program aims to develop future leaders and find solutions to common challenges in the MENA region. It is mostly designed for PhD and master’s Students.

The American University in Cairo (AUC) was founded in 1919 to provide English-language education and promote cultural exchange in Egypt. It has grown over the years, becoming a prominent institution in the Middle East. AUC has played a vital role in education and cultural exchange, impacting generations of leaders and scholars.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for Tomorrow’s Leaders Graduate Students Program (TLG) 2023/24:

• Meet AUC’s graduate admission requirements.
• Have a strong academic background, with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Display maturity, flexibility, and leadership potential through extracurricular activities, recommendations, and interviews.
• Have financial need.
