This intervention, called the European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR), is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Master’s program delivered by a network of nine institutional partners across Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;

Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to migration studies (e.g., Social Sciences, History, Law, Economics, Development Studies, Journalism).
Minimum final grade of C+ or equivalent, with certificate proof.
Submit final degree documentation, including grade details (a full transcript is acceptable).
Knowledge in migration studies, intercultural relations, and empirical methods (backed by modules, papers, essays, or exams).
Priority is given to applicants with relevant professional experience.
The last degree obtained should not be older than 5 years; if it is, an explanation is required in the statement of purpose.
EMMIR is for Master’s degree qualification; applicants already holding a Master’s must provide reasons for pursuing another.
Previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship recipients are ineligible.

Scholarship Benefits:

Monthly stipend of €1,400 for 24 months.
Health insurance, registration, and student service fees are included.
Coverage for mobility costs, including travel, visas, vaccinations, and residence permits.
There is no additional payments for travel or installation.
