TechGirls Summer Exchange Program 2025 for Young Women

Suitably qualified young women pursuing higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields are invited to apply for the TechGirls Summer Exchange Program. This rare chance provides a US-centered activity with focused career guidance intended for young women between the ages of 15 and 17 from the mentioned countries.

In 2025, the TechGirls program will support 111 undergraduate young women from 37 participating countries and territories, alongside 13 U.S. peers, in a dynamic three-week journey in the United States. The program is run over seven months, and the mentorship aspect includes a mix of pre- and post-exchange activities.

At the heart of the TechGirls program is a 23-day immersive experience at Virginia Tech, where participants will engage in an interactive tech camp. This camp offers detailed insights on innovative technologies and a focused tour of different career and learning opportunities in STEM. After the tech camp, the participants will have an opportunity to go to a U.S. city of their choice, whether Austin, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, or Seattle, for Community Immersion and to Explore STEM Careers.

The influence of the TechGirls program is even more profound because the girls will bring new skills and ideas to implement their community projects back home with the support of their mentors within the ensuing seven months. This is a great chance and young women ready to change the world in the field of STEM should grab the opportunity.
