Requirements and Eligibility Criteria;
- Must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
- Must have obtained the academic qualifications needed for admission into a Canadian educational institution.
- Must be a citizen of an eligible country or territory, including
- Be a citizen of an eligible country/territory including Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan, Türkiye, Ukraine, Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda
- Must be a full-time student at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country/territory.
- Must be paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the entire duration of the exchange program.

Application Procedures (How to apply);
Interested students must contact a Canadian institution to apply on their behalf for the Study in Canada Scholarships 2025.
Steps for Canadian Institutions:
- Assign a program coordinator to handle applications.
- Create a My EduCanada account by selecting “Login or Register”.
- After logging in, choose the Study in Canada Scholarships Program and click “Apply”.
- Fill in the required information and follow the form instructions.
- Save your progress using “Validate and save” as you move through the form.
- Upload all supporting documents (must be under 5 MB and in formats such as .jpg, .pdf, .doc).
- Review the application for accuracy and completeness.
- Accept the “Declaration and permission” statement and click “Submit”. A confirmation message and reference number will be provided.
- Save or print the completed application using the “Download” option.

- Signed Privacy Notice Statement
- Candidate’s letter of intent (one-page max)
- Proof of full-time enrollment from the home institution
- Letter of support from the home institution (one-page max)
- Letter of invitation from the Canadian supervisor (for graduate students, one-page max)
- Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or Agreement with the partner institution
- Ranking of applications
