Must be an international student, meaning a non-Canadian requiring a study permit.
Currently in the final year of secondary school or graduated no earlier than June 2023.
Starting studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024 (students already in post-secondary studies or starting in January 2024 at another institution are not eligible).

To apply for the Pearson Scholarship at the University of Toronto, follow these steps:

Get nominated by your school: If your high school hasn’t been contacted yet, they can apply to participate in the program. High schools that participated before will receive nomination access in early September.
Apply to the University of Toronto: Submit your application for admission to start your studies in September 2024. Make sure to meet the application deadlines. You’ll be considered for the Pearson Scholarship based on your first choice of program at U of T. You can apply for multiple programs, but the scholarship is limited to your first choice when decisions are made.
Once nominated and you’ve applied to the university, complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application. You’ll receive a private link for the scholarship application after a successful nomination by your school.
