The AIG Scholarships are aimed at graduates aged 25 to 45 who possess remarkable intellectual abilities, impressive academic records, leadership qualities, and a strong desire to make a difference in Africa’s public sector. These scholarships offer a chance to pursue a Master’s degree at a prestigious university.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for AIG Scholarships 2024/2025 to Study at University of Oxford :
- Be a Nigerian employed in the public sector (Federal or State levels) in Ministries, Departments, Agencies & Parastatals.
- Fall within the age range of 25 to 45 years.
- Possess a minimum of seven years of work experience (combined private & public sector).
- Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least a second-class upper qualification
- Academic Excellence and Leadership: Selection prioritizes candidates with outstanding academic performance and strong leadership potential.
- Second-Class Upper Qualification: For those with second-class upper qualifications, having a Master’s, second degree, or relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
- Contact for Shortlisted Applicants Only: Only applicants selected for the next stage will be contacted. Inquiries about individual application status are not allowed.
- Application Submission Method: Applications sent by post or in person will not be accepted.
- Finalists’ Admission Process: Finalists in the AIG selection process will need to directly apply to the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, for admissions. Those accepted into the Master of Public Policy will be further considered for AIG Scholar selection by the School.
