These scholarships are specifically for master’s degree programs that are taught in English and will be available for the 2023/2024 academic year.
This great opportunity provides a comprehensive scholarship to one student who is accepted into the program. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and meals in Rome for the entire two-year academic period. To be eligible for the Master’s scholarships in the 2023/2024 academic year, students must have completed at least 70% of the required education credits by July 31st each year. If the selected student does not meet these criteria, they will be responsible for covering the remaining tuition fees and living expenses for the second academic year in 2024/2025.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for Financial Aid and Scholarships for Refugees Students 2023 at Luiss University:
Citizenship: Applicants must be registered refugee students with UNHCR in the eligible African countries listed below:
- Kenya
- Niger
- Nigeria
- South Africa
- Uganda
- Zambia
- Zimbabwe
- Residency: Applicants must currently reside in one of the above-mentioned countries and hold recognized refugee status by UNHCR or national authorities in those countries.
- Graduation: Applicants should have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, or in another country, no earlier than July 2021.
- Enrollment: Applicants must be planning to enroll in a Bachelor’s Degree program by 24 November 2023 in Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, or another country.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants must have a minimum English language proficiency level of B2, certified by the University or another language institute (e.g., EF set/Duolingo).
- Qualification: Applicants must hold a qualification that is valid for admission to the chosen Second Cycle Degree Programme.
- Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the specific admission requirements of the Second Cycle Degree program they are applying for.
- Previous Enrollment: Applicants must not have been previously enrolled in a degree program at any of the Partner Universities.

Curriculum Vitae (CV). - Certified copy of English Language Proficiency test result (TOEFL/IELTS/PTE/CAE/CPE/MUET or equivalent qualification), or an official letter from the previous institution confirming the use of English as the medium of instruction for the obtained degree(s).
- Certified copy of Passport as evidence of nationality (with a minimum validity of 18 months).
- Medical examination report.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
