Fully Funded Schmidt Futures/Rhodes Trust Rise Challenge 2023 for young people

Suitably qualified young individuals from all over the world who are between the ages of 15 to 17 years of age as of July 1, 2023 are invited to submit application for the Fully Funded Schmidt Futures/Rhodes Trust Rise Challenge 2023 that gives selected applicants the chance to demonstrate their motivations, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills in an innovative interview format.

Schmidt Futures/Rhodes Trust Rise Challenge is an initiative of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust as the anchor program of a $1 billion commitment from Eric and Wendy Schmidt to find and support young people from all over the world with incredible talent as they work to serve others. On a yearly basis, talented young individuals from all over the world are invited to take part in the Rise Challenge. One of the very unique feature of Rise compared to other traditional applications is that it uses videos, projects, and group interviews so applicants will have various opportunities to showcase their potentials. Whether you are an applicant without access to a video recording device or an applicant without access to technology, Rise offers the option of submitting text responses and an alternative low-tech pathway through paper applications. At the end of the Challenge, up to 500 Finalists are selected by Rise to advance to “Finalist Days” where they are opportune to show their motivations, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills in an innovative interview format where about 100 Global Winners are selected to receive various benefits mentioned below.

Eligibility for the Fully Funded Schmidt Futures/Rhodes Trust Rise Challenge 2023 for young people:

The Challenge is open to young individuals from all over the world from every background, various academic disciplines and every sphere of life.
Applicants must be between the ages of 15 to 17 years of age as of July 1, 2023.
