The MEST Africa Challenge (MAC) is a continent-wide pitching competition for early-stage tech startups. Its initial purpose was to help these startups secure funding, build industry connections, and gain global visibility. Over time, MAC has become a vital institution in Africa’s tech startup scene, offering entrepreneurs from across the continent an unmatched global platform.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for MEST Africa Challenge 2023 for Entrepreneurs:
- Business must be an early-stage tech startup in Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, or Kenya.
- Minimum monthly Recurring Revenue of $5,000.
- The cumulative funding raised should be $1 million or less.
- Business existence should be 3 years or less.
- Minimum of 6 months of recurring revenue.
- At least 2 founding team members.
