Royal Thai Government Scholarships 2025
Suitably qualified international students with a passion for studying in Thailand are invited to apply for the Royal Thai Government Scholarships 2025 at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Although this type of scholarship has covered both the Master’s and Doctoral levels of study, the focus has been on students who are academically gifted.
Given to students with excellent bachelor’s and master’s degrees, the scholarship is availed to any candidate willing to study PhD and master’s programs under the School of Engineering and Technology or School of Environment Resources and Development. Priority is given to applicants from countries supported by the Thai Government.
The scholarship includes several prestigious awards:
- His Majesty the King’s Scholarships for Doctoral and Master’s Programs
- Her Majesty the Queen’s Scholarships for Master’s Programs
- Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMS Scholarships) for Master’s Programs

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria;
- Must have an outstanding academic record from a 4-year undergraduate program and a 2-year master’s program in related fields, from an accredited institution.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Must meet English proficiency requirements (IELTS 6.0 overall, including Writing, or AIT EET ≥ 6.0).
- Should demonstrate strong academic and leadership skills.
- Willing to follow AIT’s rules and student conduct guidelines.
