Shell LiveWIRE’s is pleased to announce the return of the Top Ten Innovators Global Competition for Innovators and is inviting qualified entrepreneur from all parts of the world who are looking to make great impact in their chosen fields to take part in this years competition and win exciting prizes.
The Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators Global Competition has been in existence for about 40 years now, strengthening local economies around the world by promoting meaningful employment and entrepreneurship by recognizing impactful entrepreneurs and rewarding their efforts. Shell is committed to Powering Lives and supporting the countries and communities where they operate by supporting local entrepreneurs that are making a positive impact. The competition is created to highlight and reward impactful Shell LiveWIRE entrepreneurs who are making positive contributions toward social impact, environmental sustainability, and business innovation in their community and the world at large. Those whose businesses are helping Shell to move toward an economy that prioritizes their three important themes are advised to apply
You would be wondering what Shell LiveWIRE is all about? well, it is a social investment programme that is created to support young Nigerians between from the ages of 18 to 35 years to explore the option of starting their own business as a usable career option and thereby creating employment.
Benefits of the 2022 Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators Global Competition for Innovators:
- Top Ten Innovators awards prizes across the categories that are open to entrepreneurs.
Each category will have one winner and two runners-up.
- The winners will receive $20,000 and runners-up will receive $10,000. All nine winners will receive mentoring support for a year.
- Each category will also include four honorable mentions and winner based on the highest number of public votes.
- All shortlisted entrepreneurs will benefit from promotion on Shell communication channels during the competition.
- The Outstanding Achievement for a LiveWIRE Implementing Partner
- The winner of the Outstanding Implementing Partner award will receive a capacity-building award.
