2023 Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Scholarships for mid-career professionals to study in The Netherlands
Suitably qualified mid-career professionals from Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Suriname, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen and Zambia who are looking to study in Netherlands are invited to apply for the 2023 Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Scholarships. The programme offers scholarships funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs available for a selection of: short courses with duration of 2 weeks to 12 months and master’s programmes with duration of 12 to 24 months.
The Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme is aimed to contribute to society’s sustainable and inclusive development by strengthening the skills and knowledge of both individuals, groups of individuals and organisations. The key priorities for the programme are Food and Nutrition Security, Water, Energy and Climate; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, and Security and the Rule of Law. Cross-cutting to all activities of the programme include Private Sector Development, Climate and Inclusion of Women and Marginalized Groups.

Eligibility for the 2023 Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Scholarships for mid-career professionals to study in The Netherlands:
- Applicants must be motivated.
- Applicants must be living and working in one of the eligible countries.
- Applicants must be proficient in English or French language.
- Applicants must be working in one of the priority areas for their country.
- Applicants can motivate using and transferring their knowledge and experience in their respective employing organisation after studies.
- Applicants must be agreeing to the OKP obligations and conditions.
Method of Application for the 2023 Nuffic Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) Scholarships for mid-career professionals to study in The Netherlands:
Interested applicants are to apply through the Dutch education institution of their choice by following the steps below:
- Applicants should check if their application falls within the OKP focus areas determined for their country.
- Applicants should check if they meet the OKP eligibility criteria.
- Applicants should find a course on the OKP course list. Please find a study, using the filter ‘Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP)’.
- Applicants should ask their employer whether they are willing to nominate them for an OKP scholarship.
- Applicants should contact the Dutch education institution of their choice to receive more information about the application procedure, the academic requirements and the link to apply online.
- Applicants should prepare their application: employer statement, motivation, passport, government statement (if required).
- During an application round, applicants should submit their application online using the link they receive from the Dutch education institution.
