Application is welcome from suitably qualified graduate students who wish to work in an environment that promotes development, are encouraged to apply for the WACCBIP-DELTAS II Internship Programme 2024.
The WACCBIP-DELTAS II Internship Programme is for recent graduates who are eager to embark on research activities in joint with international partners. The DELTAS II program is supported by the Science for Africa Foundation (SFA) with funding from Welcome and UK FCDO.

Requirements and eligibility criteria WACCBIP-DELTAS II Internship Programme 2024
- Completed undergraduate studies by July/August 2024 and registered for National Service.
- Majored in any of the following fields: Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Chemistry,
- Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, English Communication, or Linguistics.
- Be hardworking, highly motivated, and interested in promoting scientific research.
Responsibilities of the Graduate Intern:
- Assist in research activities at WACCBIP.
- Contribute to the delivery of training programs at WACCBIP.
- Participate in research conferences and workshops.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director or immediate supervisor.
- This position offers an opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in scientific research and contribute to various activities at WACCBIP.
