The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2025 is now open for suitable young climate and clean energy practitioners from the Global South to apply. The intergovernmental level of this program gives the participants the unique opportunity to improve their technical knowledge, strengthen sphere-specific contacts, and successfully present the visions to the leaders of the clean energy and climate change field.

Based at Yale International Leadership Centre, this fellowship of over five months offers fellows chance to interact with Yale faculty and other top professionals in resolving some of the defining questions of the climate change debate.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;

5 to 10 years of professional experience with notable achievements at a regional, national, or international level.
No age limit, but the program targets young leaders.
Must be from the Global South, with diverse representation from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America/Caribbean.
Fluent in English for full program participation.
Availability is required for two in-person program weeks: Yale Orientation (April 7-11, 2025) and Paris Closing Week (September 15-19, 2025).
Must attend five remote learning sessions between May and July 2025.
