Suitably qualified students who are zealous in pursuing their education to the next level are advised to apply for the ongoing ARES Scholarship 2025/2026 for Masters Study in Belgium. The Scholarship is competitive and requires high academic performance students.
The Scholarship enables international students to pursue a one-year advanced bachelor‘s or master’s degree program or a 2-to-6-month continuing education program at any recognized higher education institution in Belgium.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Must be a national of, reside in, and work in one of the 31 eligible countries.
- Must hold a diploma equivalent to a 2nd cycle diploma (300 ECTS credits) from a Belgian university for specialized master’s and continuing education courses.
- Alternatively, must hold a diploma equivalent to a 1st cycle diploma (180 ECTS credits) from Belgian higher education for specialization baccalaureates.
- Must have at least two years of relevant professional experience in an ARES partner country.

Application Procedures (How to apply);
To apply for the ARES Scholarship for Master’s Study in Belgium, follow these steps:
- Create or log in to your Giraf account (ensure it’s validated by ARES).
- Access the application form by navigating to Application for International Training > My Tasks > Competitive Calls.
- Complete the form (you can work on it in stages and revisit it in Competitive Calls > My Tasks).
- Submit your application by clicking on Submit My Application. Once submitted, you can view it in the My Submitted Files table, but you won’t be able to make any changes.
