Requirements and eligibility criteria for Commonwealth Shared Scholarship 2024/2025 at University of Edinburgh in UK:

  • Citizen of or granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country
  • Permanent residency in an eligible Commonwealth country
  • Available to commence studies in the UK by September 2024
  • Hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours standard by September 2024, or a lower second-class degree (2:2) with a relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Not studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country
  • Demonstrated inability to afford UK university education without this scholarship
  • Submission of all required supporting documentation in the specified format
