Deutsche Welle International Traineeship for Journalists 2026/2027

This is an 18-month paid traineeship best suited for the free-thinking types, with earlier journalistic experience or those from the legal, economic, science, or technical spheres.
With this program ranking among the best in journalism in Germany, participants are trained practically with programs touching on TV moderation, multimedia reporting, data journalism, the use of artificial intelligence, and many more. Trainees receive up to 2,273 euros monthly, gaining both practical skills and valuable industry experience.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Completed a university/college degree, apprenticeship, or journalism school before the traineeship begins
