ENS International Selection Scholarships 2025
Suitably qualified young graduates are invited to apply for the 2025 Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) International Selection Scholarships in France. This prestigious program is open to talented students in Arts & Humanities and Sciences who have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at a foreign university, demonstrating outstanding academic achievements.
The ENS International Selection aims to diversify its student community by welcoming students from all over the world into either the third year of a bachelor’s program (Licence 3) or the first year of a master’s program (Master 1). This scholarship provides a special chance for international learners to participate in an active academic milieu and interact with leading scientists in the framework of selected research-treatment-and-learning models in a world-class training and research atmosphere.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly grant of €1,000 for three years, along with accommodation on one of the ENS campuses. At the end of their studies, they will graduate with both a master’s degree in their field and the ENS diploma. The application process includes a two-step competitive selection, starting with an application review followed by remote written and oral exams for shortlisted candidates.
ENS offers 10 scholarship positions in Sciences and 10 in Arts & Humanities, welcoming the best and brightest students globally to join its exceptional academic community.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Must be under 26 years of age by December 1st.
- Must not have previously applied for the International Selection.
- Must not have lived in France for more than 10 months during the current or previous academic year (September 1 – August 31).
- Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at a foreign university in the year before applying.
- Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies at a foreign university by September 1st of the admission year.
