The Government of Mauritius provides the Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024 which is now available for deserving students who are citizens and residents of the African Union or African Commonwealth countries for the academic session 2024/25.
Scholarships are open for undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing full-time on-campus programs at public Higher Education Institutions in Mauritius. We encourage interested applicants to make the most of this opportunity

Requirements and eligibility criteria for Government of Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme 2024:
For Undergraduate Programs:
- Age Requirement: Applicants should be over 18 years old and not have turned 26 by January 1, 2025.
For MPhil/PhD Programs:
- 2. Age Limit: Applicants should not be older than 40 years by January 1, 2025.
General Requirements:
- 3. Already Applied: Must have applied for a full-time on-campus program (Diploma, Degree, MPhil, or PhD) at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius listed in Section 8 of the relevant Guidelines for Applicants, for the academic year starting in 2024.
Scholarship Duration:
- 4. Duration: The scholarship duration will be for the maximum period specified in the table provided in the Call for Applications or the minimum course duration, whichever is shorter.

- The application form includes a section for endorsement by the Nominating Agency in the applicant’s home country.
- Apply exclusively through the Nominating Agency responsible for scholarships in your country.
