Government of the Czech Republic Scholarships 2024 for Developing Countries
The government of the Czech Republic has joined hands with the Ministry of Education Youth & Sports to offer scholarships for 2024/2025 academic sessions to suitably qualified students from developing countries to pursue their academic careers in any public institution of higher education in the Czech Republic.
The scholarship provides support for foreign national students from developing and specific third countries. Undergraduate and postgraduate students who are neither citizens of the Czech Republic, citizens of the European Union, nor any other foreign national with a permanent residence permit in the territory of the Czech Republic may, therefore, apply for a scholarship.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria Government of the Czech Republic Scholarships 2024;
- Must be from a developing country
- Must enroll in a full-time study program
- Must be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Zambia, or Belarus (democratic forces)
- Must apply for a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
Scholarship Types
Czech-medium Master’s:
- For bachelor’s degree holders
- Includes a one-year Czech language course
- Specific study areas
- Requires passing entrance exams
English-medium Master’s or Doctoral:
- For bachelor’s or master’s degree holders (respectively)
- Study programs taught in English
