The Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi 2023/2024 Scholarship Programme is now accepting applications. This scholarship is designed for people from Nasarawa state, particularly those living in Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency. It aims to support individuals facing challenges in pursuing higher education due to economic and social obstacles.

This program aims to nurture future leaders by offering bright and service-minded individuals the chance to further their education. It’s geared towards fostering leadership skills in highly talented Undergraduate individuals.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for Hon. Gaza Jonathan Gbefwi Scholarship 2024 Program for Nigerian Students:

• Open exclusively to Nasarawa state indigenes from Karu, Keffi, and Kokona federal constituency.
• Must have applied to a public tertiary institution and meet the necessary qualifications for admission.
• Exclusion: Directors, Officers, and employees of the Sponsor or Administrator, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies, along with their immediate families and household members, are not eligible.
• Preparedness: Applicants should be ready to enroll in a full-time program starting in January 2024.
• Demonstrated Need: Must provide evidence of barriers to university studies due to social and economic reasons.

Selection Criteria:

• Jamb Score
• Essay Evaluation: Consideration of response thoughtfulness, relevance to the question, composition quality, and grammatical accuracy.
• Note: Preference will be given to deserving candidates who are indigent and have shown high academic performance. Only one entry per applicant is allowed.
