Requirements and eligibility criteria International Student Bursary 2024 at University of Manitoba

Applicants must be international students.
Students must complete courses in both the fall and winter terms to be eligible.
Typically, students must register for and complete at least 60% of a full course load per term (minimum 9 credit hours per term).
Graduate students are exempt from credit hour minimums if registered as full-time students in both fall and winter terms with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Students must meet minimum GPA requirements: continuing students need a minimum degree GPA of 2.0, and new students (from high school) must have a grade 12 average of 70% or higher.
Financial need must be documented in the application. Students with government loans from other provinces must submit an official loan assessment, except for Manitoba Student Aid recipients.
International students in their first year of post-secondary study in Canada are not eligible for the general bursary program.
