The Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) was established in 1987 by the World Bank Group in partnership with the Government of Japan. Since its inception, the JJ/WBGSP has provided scholarships to more than 6,000 students from developing countries. To be eligible for Joint Japan World Bank Group Scholarship Program 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must be a national of a World Bank member developing country.
Applicants must not hold dual citizenship in any developed country.
Applicants must be in good health.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree earned at least 3 years before the Application Deadline date.
