Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Must be an international student (non-Canadian) requiring a study permit.
- Must be entering your final year of senior secondary school in 2024/2025, or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
- Must be starting studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025; applicants already attending post-secondary studies or starting studies elsewhere in January 2025 cannot be considered.

To apply for The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships, follow these steps:
- Your high school must nominate you for the scholarship. If your school hasn’t been contacted before, they can apply to participate in the program. Schools with previous participation will receive nomination access from July 1, 2024.
- Apply for admission to the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024, for the academic year starting in September 2025. Your eligibility for the Pearson Scholarship will be considered based on your first choice of program at U of T. You can apply for multiple programs. Still, the scholarship will be tied to your first-choice program when decisions are made.
- Once nominated by your school and you have applied to the university, you will receive a private link to complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application. Ensure you submit this application by November 8, 2024.
