Scholars are invited to apply for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Fellowship in any discipline and at any level of study for the desire to bring positive change to Canada and internationally.

Requirements and eligibility Criteria;
- Must be registered or accepted into a full-time doctoral program (year one or two).
- Field of study should be broadly related to humanities, social sciences, or human sciences, and relevant to Canada’s future.
- Doctoral work must align with at least one of these themes:
- Human Rights and Dignity
- Responsible Citizenship
- Canada and the World
- People and their Natural Environment
You must be either:
- A Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution, or
- A permanent resident of Canada, or
- A foreign national enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.
- Eligible candidates must submit a complete application by the deadline and undergo a multi-stage selection process.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Selected candidates will receive $60,000 to cover costs related to their doctoral research in Canada.

Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:

- Complete the Application: Fill out the required sections and upload all necessary documents.
- Answer Questions: Respond to the prompts to complete your application for the 2025 Scholarship Competition.
