Must be a South African citizen by birth.
Undertaking full-time undergraduate studies at a South African tertiary institution.
Grade 12 exemption with a minimum of 70% across all subjects.
First-year tertiary students must have achieved a minimum average of 65% or higher.
Continuing students (from the first year onwards) must meet all the above criteria.
