Requirements and eligibility criteria for 2023 World Bank’s International Corruption Hunters Alliance Blog Contest:
- Applicants must be a citizen of one of the 48 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 28 on May 31, 2023.
- Applicants must not have been a winner of previous editions.
- Applicant’s submissions must be their original work. The World Bank Group reserves the right to test every entry with anti-plagiarism software.
- Applicants are to submit their entries before the application deadline as late entries will be disqualified automatically.
- Applicant’s blog post length should not exceed the following limits: 500 words in English and 650 words in French.
- The World Bank Group reserves the right to research and verify the eligibility of any entrant.

The interested applicant who wants to apply for the 2023 World Bank’s International Corruption Hunters Alliance Blog Contest, should submit their original blog entry by May 20, 2023, in either English or French. The blog entry should delve into their unique perspectives on combating corruption and its detrimental effects on society. To ensure proper submission, applicants are instructed to email a PDF or Word document containing their blog entry to Daniel Nikolits, the External Affairs Officer for the World Bank’s Integrity Vice Presidency. It is imperative that participants adhere to these instructions and submit their entries within the stipulated timeframe to be considered for the competition.
