MainOne Graduate Trainee Program 2022

MainOne is pleased to announce its interest to recruit young, smart, skillful and committed graduate who are self-starters to apply for its 2022 Graduate Trainee Program. Graduates who are resourceful, versatile, analytical, assertive, audacious, with a problem-solving mindset and interested in building a career in the Technology sector are the ideal candidate for the 2022 trainee program. The ideal applicant must also act with integrity at all times and buy into MainOne’s vision of being West Africa’s communications solutions provider of choice.

MainOne is an Equinix Company and its considered to be the leading provider of Wholesale and Enterprise connectivity and Data Center services across West Africa and the company partners with major global technology companies and regional telecom providers to service its customers. The company continue to grow their footprint with new data centers, major network interconnection facilities, extensive terrestrial fiber build out, regional points of presence, and delivery of services into 10 West African countries. The Graduate Trainee Program is a 6 weeks intensive experience aimed to provide a robust foundation for smart Graduates who wish to build careers in their chosen field. The Program combines classroom and practical training including role plays, to equip its participants with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in MainOne.

Eligibility for the MainOne Graduate Trainee Program 2022:

Applicants must be graduates with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper qualification or its equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
Applicants must have completed the mandatory one year NYSC program and should have 0 to 3 years post NYSC work experience.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate leadership qualities through extra-curricular activities.
Applicants should have relevant certification(s) such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL and/or a relevant post-graduate degree.
Applicants should have the ability to work with basic computer applications like, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Applicants should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Applicants should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Applicants should have a creative-thinking ability.
Applicants should have strong planning and organization skills.
Applicants must have team working and collaboration skills.
Applicants must have the willingness to learn new skills.

Selection Criteria for the MainOne Graduate Trainee Program 2022:

As part of the selection criteria, shortlisted applicants will be required to write an aptitude test and essay.
Once an applicant is successful at the graduate test, he/she will be invited for a panel interview.
Upon successful completion of the recruitment process, applicants will be provided with a provisional offer to join the Graduate Trainee Program for a period of six weeks.
