United States Peace Scholar Fellowship 2025 Program
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) Scholar Fellowship Program, designed for those pursuing doctoral dissertations on conflict management, peacebuilding, and security studies.
Each year, the program selects up to 18 Peace Scholar Fellows, providing financial support to postgraduate students during their dissertations’ research and writing phases. Fellows receive up to $20,000 stipend, distributed in three installments.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria;
- Open to candidates enrolled at U.S. universities who have completed all classwork and comprehensive exams.
- Must demonstrate strong academic and research abilities.
- The fellowship supports research focused on conflict management, peace building, and security studies.
- Peace Scholars are required to fully dedicate their time to the fellowship work.
- Must attend the in-person Peace Scholar workshop in Washington D.C. in September 2025.

Interested applicants for the United States Peace Scholar Fellowship should complete the online application and submit all required documents before the deadline.
