Eligibility for the Ghent University Full-fee Scholarships 2023 for Developing Countries in Belgium:

  • Applicants must be from any eligible developing country.
  • Applicants must provide a research supervisor who is jointly submitted by an applicant, a promoter at the University, and a supervisor at the partner university.
  • Applicants should submit research topics that are relevant for development.
  • Applicants must guarantee to work full time on the Ph.D. project for a period of 24 months at the University.
  • Applicants must provide a written statement stating that they are either a funded full-time Ph.D. student or a staff member at the partner university.

Method of Application for the Ghent University Full-fee Scholarships 2023 for Developing Countries in Belgium:

Interested applicants are required to submit Application forms in English via e-mail to BOFapplication@ugent.be. while the University supervisor must submit an advice on the applicants, stating his/her opinion on the capability of the applicants as a future researcher and an advice on the ethical and biosafety context of the proposed research project.
