The BRICS Young Innovator Prize, launched during South Africa’s BRICS Chairship in 2018, has become a platform for BRICS youths to showcase innovation and encourage international collaboration. The upcoming 6th edition of the prize will take place in person at the 7th BRICS Young Scientist Forum from July 31st to August 3rd, 2023 in South Africa. The main goal of this competition is to provide a platform for the youth of BRICS to showcase their pioneering work in innovation and entrepreneurship. By highlighting their contributions, the competition aims to inspire others and promote a culture of innovation within the BRICS community.
South Africa will host various in-person BRICS events, including the 6th BRICS Young Innovator Prize. Applications will be reviewed based on written documents, and selected projects will compete in the event held from August 31 to September 3, 2023. Each project will present its proposal in a 10-minute time slot, and the jury will score and select the top 10 award-winning projects, while others will be recognized as merit projects.
